Additional info on: Highspire 1978 Mack CF686-F, canopy cab, 1000/1000, plated booster reels, 285 HP motor, automatic, 6 KW Onan diesel generator, cost $89,000, Guardian gates at jump seats added later. Originally owned by Mastronsville (Lancaster County, PA) sold in 1999 to the Highspire Fire Company (Dauphin County, PA). Highspire enclosed the cab and added a FDNY style hose cover by New Lexington. Atglen 1984 Pierce Arrow, 4-door six man cab, 1250/500, 6V92TA Detroit, 330HP, automatic, purchased used in 05/02 from FireTrucksPlus of Ca who had purchased it from Earleigh Heights (Anne Arundel County, MD). It was painted all white with a red stripe, repainted by FireTrucksPlus all red on the bottom, moved airhorns to front bumper. While at FireTrucksPlus, had pump test done, packing started coming through nozzle, under warranty by Pierce, repaired by them. Delivered to Atglen on 10/02/02. Sold through FireTrucksPlus in 03/2005 to a fire company in TN. It left on 3/28/05. 1984 White-Volvo/4-Guys, 500/2100, stainless steel elliptical tank body, purchased used from Leesport (Berks County) on 11/22/02 who had the chassis purchased from Berman-White-Leesport for $48,481, 4-Guys cost was $35,895.50, delvd 3-84, in service 5-84, housed 8-24-85, std.conv.cab, when chassis purchased-cab painted black, 2500 gal portable tank, first apparatus purchased by co.without borrowing funds, Hale PTO pump, 8 inch jet dump valve, 1.8 KW generator, 350 gpm Hale portable pump, Detroit 6V92TA, 330HP, with a 9-speed Road Ranger transmission. Purchased for $50,000. Placed into service on 12/01/02. Was sold on 5/05 to the Republic Fire Department (Greene County, MO) for $42,500. Kennett Square 1998 Volvo X-Peditor/Metz, 4-door six man cab, 100 ft rear-mounted steel ladder-tower, detachable bucket, rollup doors, Westerbeke 7.5 KW generator, Cummins M11, 400 HP, automatic, with ladder fully retracted-can be used as a crane with a tip load of 8,000 lbs, first unit of this kind in the United States, first shown at the Harrisburg Expo-May of 1998, built by Metz of Karlsruhe, Germany, 7.5 KW generator, contract signed 11/97, placed into service on 7/27/98, first job that night at the Centre Square Apartments. Sent out in late 2000 to have the cab doors replaced. Swarthmore Not sure which one this is - need help from Al on this.

Beautiful shot of the Swarthmore antique! Must be a real treat to see a rig fresh from Lee's of Tuckerton. Do you have anything else from Swarthmore in your vast collection? I know they run a late-model Pirsch engine with a Cinci cab.
