Found these two old rigs sitting at GM dealership on route 1 in Norwood Ma looking for a home. 1st up is a former Norwood rig ex E3 which was Lime Green at one time

The rig on the other side of the above rig is Wrenthem Ma's old Hahn engine

looks like a "Stutz" it was a small time manufacturer...they may have gone out of business right around WWII I dont know alot about them but that looks like one

Nope . If you look at it closley. It has a Seagrave radiator, pump panel and the tow hooks on the front just above the Bumper are Seagrave

The Norwood rig was originally a 1966 F model open cab. It was rehabbed in 1981 along with it's twin ladder 1 by Continental fire apparatus the way you see it here but painted lime green. Was repainted red and met it's demise at the great firehouse flood of 1997. Ladder 1 was sold to Greenville Maine and I believe has also since been replaced. Jim

The Arlington Va rig shown in the junkyard in Roanoke, taken by Mike Sanders, has been sent to the scrapyard. It is no longer sitting as it has reached its final resting place. This engine ran as E7 in its heyday.

I found this old Chevy Chase, Maryland (Montgomery County) Mack CF sitting in a garage at Circleville, West Virginia.



Info I have is a 1979 Mack CF 1250/500 - old Engine 71.

What condition was the rest of the rig? I thought somebody had said that they were working on it and would be on the parade circuit? There was a bunch of junk next to the CF on the pump side. It did not look like it was in "terrible" condition - definitely worthy of a rehab.

i found this old gal on the Londonderry Turnpike Aka bypass rte 28 in Auburn near the Derry line 1960's IH truck company, i do believe it served in NH as there was a lakes region mutual aid sticker on the cab, it was Marked as Ladder 2 and it looked like it did serve privately as a steeple repair vehicle or to that effect, anyone have anything on her

I believe that is an ex-Laconia truck. I think the current owners bolted the bucket to the end of it.

thanks guys, yeah that is an "after market "bucket on the end of the stick, and by the way what make is the ladder, & it doesnt look like she's been used in a while the ceiling is coming down in the cab
