Will cross post to the water rescue truck thread.[/quote]
Chief said "The vehicle was sold at auction to a collector in Colorado last year. It only had a few hundred miles on it, as it was rarely used".

CT Convention Parade was held in Cromwell on Sunday, 9/21/08 - Parade lasted about 2hrs from the time the 1st until left to the last one reach the fall out area. It only took about an hour to get past me at the line up. Nice to meet Eric (bige1998?) Great day for shooting, I more less tried the newspaper photographer trick of F 8 and be there (I did play a little here and there). Took over 800 photos, and some video - so the processing is going pretty slow, but by noon today all the line up and parade photos will be up - leaves the ones from the fall out area and videos to deal with.
Anyway from the line up here's Southington's Maxim
Power Wagon!!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
That's just a taste - more later....got good others I'll post in the faces shots/color guard threads - including Portland's drill team doing their counter column routine - very cool to see in person.

The Seagrave Tower you mention has been rejected by East Hartford. The rig has never entered sevice as the RK Aerial has many issues.Seagrave and East Hartford have agreed to split the difference and are currently building them a Seagrave Aerialscope with delivery due late this year. They are still running a Seagrave Concorde RM loaner till the new rig arrives.
