AHH yes, my favorite time of year. Fire Prevention Week. I don't know about the rest of the country, but around here there is some kind of display every day this week. Unfortunatly I have to work a few of them Like the big one on Monday in downtown Coulumbia with the Parade. bit I will be posting a few of my shots through out the week. It started Yesterday with the Wren VFD (Anderson County SC open house and car show. If there is intrest I can post some of the regular cars in a different post. First is Wren Squad 24

Next is Powdersville Truck 7. 2006 E\-One Typhoon ladder. I have yet too Photograph this truck ladder down. This truck has all the Bells and Whistles. Including a Hurst tool mounted in the front bumper dept. and and Oil dry hopper/dispenser.
Technically this isnt a fire truck, but dedicated to firefighters.

As I mentioned earlier, fire prevention week is definitley my favorite time of the year. My trip this past Saturday took me to Lancaster, Sc, Wesley Chapel, Nc and back through York and Union County sc. Plus I found out some info for next year. I did not know that Union,sc had a Fire parade on Saturday of fire prevention week. First, Here is a Peirce demo parked at the local Pierce dealer in Spartanburg, SC.
