Interesting looking tower, but what especially catches my eye is the Q placement of being half-in/half-out of the bumper. Never seen one set like that.
I also like the new "rims" Truck 606 received. Gives it a more old timey/classic look.

I spent a few days in West Virginia this week for work and the GPS had me go by a small town named Circleville. As soon as I saw the sign I recognized the name and remembered that an old Loudoun County fire truck was once in service in Circleville....and still is.
This is Sterling's old ladder truck (their first ladder truck). Sterling sold it to Purcellville, Virginia (Station 2 in Loudoun) who had it rehabed by inmates from a Virginia prison. When Purcellville received their KME tower, they sold the Seagrave to Circleville, West Virginia in 2003. Obviously, very few changes have been made to the Seagrave since Circleville received it - it is still marked as Truck 2. I was disappointed that the Circleville name was not on the Seagrave.

Neersville is Station 16 in Loudoun County, located near the Virginia/West Virginia border. Apparatus at Station 16 is a combination of county owned and volunteer apparatus, although the volunteer program in Neersville appears to be coming to an end.
Engine 616 is one of three similar Pierce Dash's delivered - the other two went to Round Hill Engine 604 and Lucketts Engine 610.
Engine 616 is a 2007 (December) Pierce Dash 1500/750/50 with job number 19355-01.
Unfortunately, I was not able to get a photograph of Tanker 16 - a 2000 Freightliner 112/S&S 750/3000. Mechanical problems and it would not start.
Last from Neersville is Ambulance 616, a 2006 Ford F450/2007 Medtec. This is one of two similar ambulances owned by Loudoun County. The other runs from Aldie Station 7.
What happened to the county owned white 2002 Pierce Enforcer that was at Neersville?
Loudoun County has two new Pierce engines and one Pierce truck that are on order and should be delivered this year to the Training Center. Until the two new Pierce engines arrive, Pierce has on loan to Loudoun County training center two engines.
The 2002 Pierce Enforcer that was recently at Engine 16 in Neersville will become a county wide reserve unit. My understanding is that it will be re-lettered and re-numbered (not sure what that will be yet). I was told once it is ready, it may be stored at the county warehouse. Prior to this 2002 Pierce serving at Neersville, it was Engine 99 at the training center.

Corrections welcome.
You are correct......this is the one and only in Loudoun with the clear pump panel.
Engine 99 was taken from the training center and put into the field (Neersville) because of the need to have a reliable engine at Neersville....and Engine 99 was the solution. Things are now looking much better from the perspective with the delivery of the three Dash engines and pending delivery of the two new training engines.

Micah,
Sorry we did not get a chance to hook up when you visited Ashburn. Glad to see Nate was on duty at Station 6 and was able to move trucks around for you.
