Anyone know anything about this rig? It is a slide I came across. No photographer name on the slide.

Howie,

This was a former FDNY rig that was disposed of, purchased and then refurbished I can't remember what company it was assigned too, I hope this helps.....

Hey Guys,

I remember in one of Peter Aeloisi's books it said that it was originally the Chauffeur's Training rig at the FDNY Academy and never saw actual fire duty while in NYC.

Howie the Mack that went to St Joseph's was a former FDNY rig that was designated as the Cassion unit for LOD funerals. It never saw any fire duty.

It was assigned to the Chauffer school for admin purposes only, but not used for training.

Direct from our intranet page, Lowell's new Pierce L4 on its first stop at HQ from the factory. Dirty from the road and no spec. details, but here's a first look. It goes to the dealership for some last minute outfitting of tools and cabinets. It should be back to begin operator training in about two weeks. Photo courtesy of LFD MIS division.
