This one is a mystery. The rescue body was a remount from a 1990s Chevy chassis and the only markings I could find was Wheeled Coach which did the remount. Did Wheeled Coach build rescue bodies in the early 90s or can anyone identify the body?

This rig possibly came from AZ somewhere, my driver couldn't remember exactly where. The only serial # I could find was the work order #.

Very nice KW! Love the big water trucks.

Question, what is the smoke behind the rig? Tell me its NOT the truck exhaust.

Nice Photo, This truck often comes to some of our Antique Truck shows here in NC. Just in case some of you are interested, friend here in NC has business of refurbing these trucks with Diesel motors and did this Dodge. Visit his website for more photos of this truck & others.

Way back in the mountains East of Boone is a community known as Tripplet. For many years, a influential guy by the name of Stewart Simmons helped the community out by donating money for various projects such as the community center and fire department. So, in return the community of Tripplet decided to name the local VFD after him. He was so influential at the time his name was mentioned in the old Andy Griffith Show, so I have been told.
