Side view. Notice the two emblems. The emblem closest to the cab is the Purcellville Volunteer emblem and the one near the rear is the Loudoun County career staff emblem. This is a combination staffed station. I thought it was a nice touch adding both emblems.
Jeep 602 is a 2000 Jeep Wrangler that was officially put in service this year (I believe April). It was pretty much built in house by a member whose profession is modifying Jeeps. He really did a fantastic job.
The Wranger was purchased used from a dealership. A RKO brush package was purchased, and the member did the majority of the work to create a very useable brush truck. Purcellville also has a Ford F brush truck built on a flat bed. While that serves the department well, the Jeep fills a void by being able to get into some really tight areas.

Philomont, VA (Loudoun County) FWD/Seagrave...
My first ride in my career. Such a beautiful looking and sounding piece.
After inquiring about it I was told it would be on Brindlee Mtn.'s site although I have yet to see it there. They have a Pierce Arrow XT 2000/2500/50/150 with Husky 12 foam system on order.

Third in the list of 2000 year rigs for the Luvurne twins, Reserve Truck (E\-One) is third on the list in 1992 area and their training tiller 1988 Seagrave is listed also on Brindlee Mountain's site.
I thought I saw this truck a while back as being for sale. Can anyone confirm?
As someone else accurately reported, Leesburg is indeed in the process of selling 4 vehicles:
1. Tanker 1 a 2000 Spartan / Luverne pumper tanker with 1500 gpm pump, 1250 gallon water tank, 50 gallon Class B foam tank, rear 10" square dump, and a Detroit 60 series motor
2. Reserve Tanker 1, which is a twin of Tanker 1
3. Reserve Truck 1, a 1992 E\-One 110' ladder truck
4. Reserve Tiller 1, a 1988 Seagrave tillered ladder truck which we used for driver's training before delivery of our 2007 Seagrave tillered ladder.
Also correct is that we've ordered a new tanker, which should arrive from Pierce some time this summer.
If anyone has any interest in any of our apparatus that is for sale, feel free to contact me directly.
I have found a couple of old Loudoun County apparatus now serving at other FD's in Virginia.
Chatham, Virginia is in Pittsylvania County near Danville.
Their "new" Tower 21 is this 1993 Pierce Arrow 100' with job number E7625.
It originally was ordered by Chesapeake, VA. It became a loaner for Singer and was South Riding's first ladder truck - Tower 19. After South Riding received their newer Pierce tower, the 1993 Pierce was sold to Chatham.
