Our last stop for the day.....
Quint 1151, Highview FD, Louisville, KY 2008 Seagrave TR54CM 1500/500/75' #85143
I had some free time before the wedding on Saturday morning, so I added a few more. Camp Taylor FD was hosting a multi-agency drill. I wasn't able to get posed shots, but these are better than nothing. The hard part was not getting lots of firefighters in the shots!

I'll end tonight's posts with a rig I tried for several years to shoot while it was owned by Chattanooga. I'll post the rest of this trip on Thursday.

Quote:Dave I have this listed as a 2006, Job # 18131-02 Thanks, Nick! Quote:That is a nice rig. Any of the back end of it?? Sorry, the only shot I did get was difficult enough as they were conducting a "meeting" right behind it. Like I said, this was shot during a training drill and there were firefighters everywhere.
Dave,
Thanks for the kind words. It was a good time. Rarely do buffs visit me here. The weather couldn't have been better your whole stay. The weather continued into the next week, when I got out for my probable last outing of the year - mostly local reshoots and a couple of new deliveries. The Camp Taylor quad had the RPI 4-door conversion in 1999. We love our quads here....and Squrts!
The rest of the Louisville trip.............

My next stop was the McMahan FD, right down the street from where my nephew and his new wife live. In addition to a nice fleet of Seagrave customs, they have a 1962 Ford F-700/Sutphen 600/250 bumper-pumper, HS-269, and an open-cab E model Mack, neither of which would start up.

Squrts are fairly uncommon, but having two in the same house is almost unheard of.

Last stop that day was the Middletown FD.
