I still do a few drawings from time to time . . . but I've kind of shifted gears for a new project, doing drawings of sports cars from the 1960's for a client. Not 100% sure what he intends to do with 'em, but they sure are fun to do . . . lots of curves. The E-Type Jaguar, for example, was a real challenge.
I'm glad to have seen so many new faces come along since the very beginning. How far have we come? Here's an example of an early drawing I did in 1987 on a Zenith Datasystems 386. It was done with the keyboard, pixel by pixel using the arrow keys. That's 21 years ago, folks. Here's a little more recent drawing of the same rig: I was even inspired to build a 1/25-scale model of it: Keep drawing, everyone. It's brought me over 20 years of enjoyment - and some great new friendships - so far.
My interpretation of the State of New Jersey's Urban Area Security Initiative air unit.. There are 5 of these in North Jersey, staffed by paid departments in Bergen County by the Hackensack FD, Passaic County by the Paterson FD, Essex County by the Newark FD, Union County by the Elizabeth FD, and Hudson County by the Jersey City FD.. They can be called by local departments if needed for cascade.. These are just a few units of the "Metro USAR Strike Force".. If anyone would like more information on the UASI, Metro USAR Fact Sheet..
