Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous

As for the old engine photo, heres something to confuse things further. I have them adding during the war in 1942 an enclosed cab International, Oren 500-gpm. In 1947 I have them getting an enclosed Chevy, Maxim 500-gpm. The photo looks to me like the International Oren. Of course corrections, additions welcome.
Rusty ol' Ed Freen For other relavent historical tidbuits check out Rustys Rosters blog
OK, Rusty, so lets say that the Chevy I posted earlier is the 47 Chevy/Maxim(chassis produced 1941-47) and the 42 IH/Oren is this one in a Chuck Satterfield postcard. The IH looks like an open cab, too. FCVFD bought Maxim and Oren custom engines (open-cabs) in the 50's. According to FCVFD's website, the old station was under construction in 1934.
You gentleman are the best! Thanks so much for sharing both your photos along with your wealth of historical knowledge!
Is there by chance a photo somewhere in the archives of 76's 2-piece Hahn engine company? Sorry, had to make a request! Thanks again!

Falls Church had several other Hahn apparatus in service when I photographed the two Hahn engines.
Reserve Engine 76 was this 1967 Hahn 1250/500 as photographed in 1987. Mike Sanders Winchester, VA

The 1967 Hahn was sold to Gainesville VFD in Prince William County in the 1990 time frame. Interstate Trucks did some work on the Hahn.
Photo taken in July of 1990. Any idea what the status of this Hahn is.......does Gainesville still have it? Mike Sanders Winchester, VA

It was still there when I left VA in 2005.
Its been a few years but the "Junkyard Dog" (nickname she got due to an incident early on in its career in Gainsville) I believe it is their parade piece. Though on their site she is still an in service rig: http://www.gdvfd.org Thanks for sharing!
Still there I believe. Stored in the water tower base at FS15.
Mike Thank you! Seeing all the Hahn's (Engine, Pumper, Truck) responding through Falls Church together was pretty awe inspiring...
Thanks again!
