Yes it is, if you look at the pump operators compartment door in the upper left, you will see the older 4-Guys emblem.

This is a squad from Highland Hose Comany No. 1 of Tarentum, PA. It had a removable canvas for the rear since it was semi enclosed.

This was the squad of Eureka Hose from Tarentum. Eureka is the downtown company, Hoghland Hose is on the hill above the railroad tracks, and Summit Hose is in the west end of Tarentum Borough.

Before Latrobe #2 received this rescue, it was involved in an accident, a rollover if I am not mistaken. This needed to be repaired before Latrobe took delivery. It is an E\-One and on a tandem chassis with a small pump and tank.

The department put in for an A.F.G. in 2006. They were approved in 2007 and then the grant was revoked. There was an article in the paper about it. Rumors were out that some of the info on the application was falsified, that is rumor. Anyway the department ended up buying the Indiana rig. I was told the American LaFrance is still in the station out of service, that I am not sure of either.

This Engine was refurbed and cabinets were added where the hard sleeves were. It was converted into a rescue and ran as that until it was replaced by a new KME rescue engine in 2003 I believe. This engine was then sold to Applewold in Armstrong County.

Thanks for the info Mike. When are you going to stop back in Westmoreland County. Would love to take you around the Alle-Kiski VAlley for some shots. We have 4 Macks just in New Kensington and Arnold.
