I always liked the paint scheme on this truck with the grey and red, it isn't something you see everyday and it was the only truck in the fleet painted like this.

Steve Loftin asked about possible ALFCentury 4x4 rigs. I photographed two of them in California in 2002.

Big Bear City bought two ALF Century 4x4 engines in 1981. At the time of my visit, one was still in service as a reserve-engine. Engine 291-A is a 1981 ALF Century 4x4 with 1250 gpm-pump and 500 gallon-tank. Juergen Kiefer photo

The FD in nearby Arrowbear Lake operated another 1981 Century 4x4, 1250 gpm/500 water. It was originally in service in Running Springs/CA. Juergen Kiefer photo

I also have a notation that Clark County Nevada had one, but I am not positive on what Chassis it was on.

I found this old International - American La France sitting near station 9, being

used as advertisement for a local insurance company.

It appears to be a 750 pump and maybe a 200 or 300 tank.

It has a June 1996 PA State Inspection sticker on the windshield.
