Cool photos thanks for sharing, never knew the super foam tanker was lime green. The white over red is much better.

301 became 2212 and 305 became 2253 when the numbering system changed. Both were repainted in the late 90's. 2212 became 2242 when the current 2212 was placed in service and remained in service til' the current 2242 arrived and is now 2292. And 2253 was replaced several years ago by a new tanker. I was a big fan of the roof turret.

I haven't heard anything about getting tillers. I don't know why we would get them. Haven't had them in 30 years or more. We are supposed to buy 2 hook and ladders (one replacing another and adding one). May I ask where you heard that from?

Not too many front liners in for service. Only the 24's and the 27's. I dont know where they sent the 10's. they might have sent it to the dealer.

Here is the last one. Reserve Pierce 117 in the paint area and the nice old wooden door. I saw some cool stuff up there. they have one of the old WOODEN ladders. Made of WOOD! and in great shape i might add. i will try and get some more shots sometime.

Matt, the same rumors that Richmond is going back to TDA Trucks and Pumpers!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Icon_crazy' />

I was at Missouri Fire School at Mizzou a couple a weeks ago. They have a small vender expo on Friday. The local Smeal Dealer confirmed he had a order for 2 - 125' Quints on order for STLFD. I know STLFD has Chevy Tahoe's out for bid as well. Don't know how many.

Metro West has a Rosenbauer 1500 gallon/1500 gpm Pumper/Rescue/Tanker on order to replace 3354 and has 2 Chevy 5500 LSV's on order from Osage for 3317 and 3347 similar to the Valley Park LSV.

Monarch is going out to bid soon for pumper 2220. They also have 2 larger LSV's on order.

West County EMS is looking into 75' Quints.

Washington FD in Franklin County is about to start writing spec's for a rescue/pumper to replace R/P 143 at Station 4, a mini-pumper or mini-rescue to replace Utility 156 at Station 5 , and a Zodiac type boat to replace boat 136 at Station 3.

Thanks for those updates toby. I figured Metro West and Monarch would soon join the fad and switch to commercial style ambulances.

West County recently passed a bond issue to enhance the frontline fleet with Quints. Also to do some work to their stations. The current fleet I believe is 2003 ALF Eagles and 2 of the 3 stations are less than 5 years old. One opened within the last year.
