Last up for tonight for this thread until I can find more of my pictures is this Ford C/Young open cab engine which also formerly served the Ridge-Culver FD. They also ran another engine almost identical to this one back in the 70's and 80's. This was also taken at the 86 Webster FD parade. If anyone has any better pics of this rig, please do post them, as I would like to see a better quality pic of this rig, or the other one they ran with. I hope you have all enjoyed tonight's pics in this thread, and I'll post more as I find them. Sorry the pictures weren't of better quality, but they were taken back in the 80's when I first started taking pics of rigs, with a Kodak Disk Camera.

I think it's a GMC/Maday Truck Body (local body builder.) Body was originally on a '48-ish Ford F series, and remounted on the GMC in the early '80s. Unknown where that truck is today.

Ah yes, the infamous disk camera. Amazing how it could produce anything from really grainy to really good pictures, I think it depended on what batch of film you happened to get.

Yes, Ridge Culver had 2 of these, about 2 years apart, not sure which one this is, but the older one was gas - 5 spd manual trans - hyd brakes, the newer one was diesel - autamatic trans - air brakes.

Jeff, can't really make it out, but is that one of the brothers Loce at the wheel?
