BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! As I was turning around to continue on my way, I found this sister Pirsch TDA hiding behind an old Fotomat booth.
As you can see, the fenders are a more pronounced white on this one.
Twin TDA's, inverted triangular department seals, possibly white fenders. Anyone have any ideas where they're from?

You can also look them up using the address 9886 Ridge Rd, Brockport, NY. In the Google shots they are obscured by foliage and the second one is almost invisible.
Rochester is a good guess. I don't know their seal, but they're close to Rochester, and RFD is big enough to have owned a pair of them. Next closest large city is Buffalo, but they don't look BUF to me.
Here's one I found by accident earlier today. This is the 1976(?) International Paystar/Saulsbury 4x4 from Syracuse Rescue 1. This was one tough looking rig back in the day. Found it in a big junkyard in Scranton, PA.

Rochester purchased three Pirsch Model 41E 100' TDA's in 1953, #2095, 2096, and 2097. They also bought two Model 41E 85' TDA's, one in 1956, #2265, and one in 1960, #2479. I don't think the two you found are twins, I think you have one 1953 in the first shot and one of the newer 85' rigs in the second shot. There are differences in the ladders and the compartments on the trailers. There's a shot of #2479 on page 69 of the Pirsch book from Iconografix.

Here are two relics I recently shot in Myrtle Beach,SC that I need some help on. This one I found on South Kings Hwy at a t-shirt shop, but it had no identifying marks as to where it served. All I know is it was a 1950s Ford Big Job/ALF 750/500.

The other one was lettered as Lakewood Engine 1 and I found it at the entrance to Lakewood Campground on South Kings Hwy (Hwy 17) heading towards Surfside Beach. It was a 1970 Ward LaFrance Ambassador 1000/? #80-427.

They are both Rochester trucks, the one just made its way up there a few years ago, I would like to say it was Truck 5. I will get some better pick once we loose the snow it is about 5min from my house.

Also to add my 2-cents, another rig found in Myrtle Beach is a Seagrave I found on Nth Kings Hiway at Calli Bakers firehouse pub. No markings other the pubs' name. If you in the area it's a good take. And if your don't want firehouse stuff, right next doors is Hooters!

Looks like an ex Cape May New Jersey Seagrave to me.
Its a 1956 originally purchased by Lake City, SC in Florence County (about 1 hour west of where it is sitting now). It was sold in the late '80's to Cordesville FD in Berkley County. They sold it to a motorcycle shop near Charleston a couple of years ago that went out of business. It popped up in Myrtle Beach at the t-shirt store about a year ago. A friend of mine stopped in to inquire about it back in the summer and nobody in the store knew anything about it.
