And the rig that American Ambulance runs for the University of Miami's School of Medicine is a 2007 Ford E that I think was built by Wheeled Coach.

Alex told me about the Palm Beach Gardens PUC to. I had been waiting to see it, as well as Pompano's new Quantum ladder.

Mark..That GPTSC Squad 13 looks like one of the ex Atlanta Gas Light trucks that are all over the Metro Atlanta area.

City of Fayetteville FD here in Fayette County has one.

Got lucky one night and found this sitting outside the Hanging Dog (yep, that's really the name) Volunteer Fire Dept. in Cherokee County, NC. It's a 1974 Ford F750/Darley 750/750 Pumper.

Today, I went on a mission in East Polk, TN and found, not what I was looking for but, two rigs I'd already shot plus one more. First up is this 2007 International/E-One Tradition 1250/1250 pumper as Engine 1, GSO#125911.

Next up is the one I hadn't seen before, Tanker 1 of East Polk, TN VFD. It's a 1993 Freightliner FL70 with the tanker body built in 2009 by some company out of Mississippi. It's a 250/1500 tanker.

A few days ago Aaron Owenby, Andrew Cody Mesner, GA Dave and I gathered for a marathon day of apparatus photography. Our aim was to get a bunch from Cherokee County, NC that they didn't have and a bunch from Union County, GA that we all needed. We did well. Here are a few of them beginning with some from Valleytown Fire Rescue in Andrews, NC that I hadn't been able to shoot before.

This one is one they'd like to get rid of. It's actually for sale. It's a 1979 Ford C900/Grumman 1000/1000 pumper as Engine 2962, GSO#15917.

Next up was the Murphy, NC VFD. I wanted to shoot their new tanker and some of the guys needed shots of everything. The guy manning the station was quite accomodating and posed everything for us. The new tanker is this 2009 International 7400/US Tanker 500/2000 as Tanker 1161, GSO#UST5431.

Mark, you ever get over towards Fannin County? I'd love to see what trucks they got now.

Umm, Scooby, Fannin County is no longer on my list of places I'll bother with. Long story. I think I've posted everything I've shot there though.

Well, on the first day and the last day that Jim Kus and I were with Mike Quinn for the 2010 Annual Quinn-a-Thon (Fireengines.net's 2nd Annual Kitbash and Photographer's Show) in Meriden, CT, the three of us shot a bunch of FDNY stuff. The first day, as you'll see from the photos was a horrible day weather wise. It was rainy and cloudy the whole day. But, we shot nonetheless. Here's some of what we got.

First up was at The Rock, or the training facility, where we shot a wide variety of rigs. This rig, a 1989 Seagrave 100' Rearmount Ladder was lettered for the fictitious Ladder 705, a movie number. It's seen better days. It bears FDNY inventory #SL8907D.
