"Starks" Engine 91

Unknown ALF Engine 115...had Maine Inspection stickers on it

[/quote]

Holy 115's Batman! Katonah NY, Westchester County. 1962 ALF 1000/500 delivered as a 750gpm. Replaced in 1986 by a 1250/750 Pierce Lance. One of our members has a summer house in Northport Maine; We sold 115 and 117 a near identical 1968 900 Series ALF to Northport. I'll see if I can find an in service photo of this truck and post it.

Katonah NY Engine 115, 1962 ALF circa 1984. When in service with KFD it had a 50ft. Bangor Ladder which I am told was seldom used. Sorry for the poor quality of the scan.

Here's a pic of Engine 117 also sold to Northport Maine (1968 ALF 900 Srs. 1000/500) when it was still in service with Katonah - the quality is a bit better in this one. Photo circa 1988.

That truck would be worth some $$

It can be restored!

During a cross state business trip yesterday I found this gem. It’s located off SR 378 south of Saluda SC. It’s behind a fence of an auto salvage yard. It obliviously had been a FDNY rig and had “Rapid Water” markings. Can’t tell if it served anyone else. Other than faded paint, it doesn’t look too bad. No one was around to ask or to get behind fence.

Unsure what this relic originally was, but I took this photo of an old Theresa Vol Fire Dept truck while out on a bombing range this week. My guess is this was a surplused army truck that was placed in service as a woods truck, only to be finished off as a target. This is the before photo.

This was posted on www.Lancasterfire.com I asked if I could repost it here to find out whose ladder this was. Found this ladder truck in a farm field on North Clay road in Clay Township Lancaster County PA.

Adam,

A couple years ago when Rheems1 hosted the Lancaster County Photo shoot for the Southern guys, we stumbled upon this rig. I didn't get any information on it, but I'm sure they did.

Nice folks that own this truck too! Whatever they were cooking the day we stopped by would knock your nose off! It smelled amazing! Too bad Fritz got stung while we were shooting this truck, hopefully he's forgiven me by now, hahaha!!
