Doc,
You are correct on the Gallatin Sunnyside rig. It was original to Rockwood in Somerset County. Below the magnet stickers it still said Rockwood. They still owned the rig in 2003 when I stopped in. Undercliff tower was refurbed to Ron's Garage. Sold to Benwood, WV I believe?? I'll have to double check on that. Replaced by a KME tower. Guyasuta had twin hahns. I'll check and see if I have the other one. Munhall still owns the Sutphen tower. Calumet still has the Hendrickson ladder, but I thought I read somewhere that it was due to be replaced. They also have a Duplex engine from Cinnaminson, NJ.
Mike,
When I was at Munhall they said it came from out in OH. Sorry I can't be much more help. When are they getting the new KME tower? Quote:Guyasuta had twin hahns. I'll check and see if I have the other one. Well, almost. They had two Hahn pumpers, a 1977 and a 1983. The '83 had the 84/92 cab. The '77 is currently in service in Friendship, AL.
Dave,
Thanks for the info. I have a slide of the 1983. |
