First due @ the home in which I grew up. If someone would have told me as a wee lad that one day IGH would have black-over-red rigs, and the FF's would have traditional leather helmets, I probably would have gone into hysterics.

Thanks, John. Love seeing the rigs from our neck of the woods.

John, Do you mind me adding some of my stuff onto the thread? I finally decided to bite and jsut throw um all on photobucket instead of puttsing around with them.

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

If you get confused by these next couple pictures, join the club. These are two different rigs on opposite ends of town.

Minneapolis Quint-2 2004 Commander/Rosenbauer General 2000/500/100'

This was assigned to station 2 in 2008 and formerly served as Quint 20. The two companies switched rigs, so that the NE part of the city, where Station 2 is located would have an additional aerial device. This was necessary, due to a bridge over the Mississippi being closed. The bridge was the main route for L-10 into the area.

When these Quints were ordered, the plan <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> was to put them in the outlying stations. One of these was put into Station 21, which at the time was a dual house. When that happened Ladder 2 was closed. Eventually the department found some money, and Ladder 2 was put back into service, using the Former Quint 21.

Last one for now. When E-5 received their 2008 Arrow XT, their former unit was assigned to Station 19. When this unit was purchased for Station 5, it was determined that the addition of the TSQ ladder made the unit too tall for the Station.

St. Paul received 4 of these pumpers from Custom, in 2008.

E-4, E-9, and E-7 have identical specs, with the exception of a elevated monitor (100") on E-7
