Sorry Rick, I do not know.
Minnesota Apparatus
|
Rick: From the far let of the building to the apparatus bay,the day room, kitchen and watch desk are on the street side. There is also a exercise room and a "Top Secret Room" on the other side of a hallway to the apparatus bay. There are two sets of poles. On the second floor there are individual rooms for the engine and ladder crews, arson investigator, District Chief 2,Deputy Chief and a couple spares. The Officers get the windows.
The top secret room is actually just a conference/training room that the previous Chief and his minions kept the key for at HQ, across the street. ALso there are two water fountains, with one being a bit taller than the other. The Chief made the FF's take the lables off the fountains that said engine crew on the smaller one and truck crew on the taller one. The reasoning was a no hazing policy. Can you believe that, "no hazing in the fire house"?
So Mark: Did I describe the Station correctly????
154.280 just dispatched Coon Rapids.
This 1965 Ford C/General Safety served as E-9,5 and 24 during it's career.

Well then that explains that! Thanks! I'm really looking forward to building mine.
If I counted correctly, this 1951 Mack was one of 10 received by the department.
This one served as E-6 1000/200
E-15 received a new pumper in the fall of 2008. This 1993 GMC White/Custom Fire was retired to the spare pool.

Since this is the Minnesota Apparatus thread, does anyone know what Grand Rapids is running? Also, I have a pic (not good quality as it was taken by a family member) of an Engine from Hill City, MN. I'll see if I can find it and pust it. Here is a shot I have an old ALF that's lettered Chisolm Fire Dept No.1 that's in a museum up on "Da Range".

The former Ladder 7 1974 Ford L/Thibault 100'
Matt, Give me a minute and I will get the info to you on Grand Rapids. For now, they have a MM Quantum Tower on order, that will be painted Red/Black, which is a change from the SLime.
I thougt that the recently retired Ladder Captain slept in the elevator. That was where his mattress was. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
This former L-8 was sold to a department on the Minnesota/Iowa border for use at an Ethanol Plant.
