The following is from the Sutphen.com website: Manufacturing Quality Sutphen Corporation currently has five factories. Sutphen's Main Office and Plant is the Amlin location northwest of Columbus on State Route 33. It manufactures the Sp 95, SP 100, SP 110, and the increasingly popular SPH 100 aerial platforms. Also built here are custom-extruded aluminum pumpers, HeavyRescues and the Shiled Series line of pumpers. An additional building was added to the property in 2005 in order to handle the demand of increased production in the Shield Series. Hilliard, Ohio, 6 miles south of the main plant, is the home of Sutphen Towers which manufactures SA 65 and SA 75 Box Boom Aerials, the SP 70 Platform, SL 75 and SL 104 Climbing Ladders, and stainless bodied pumper apparatus. Repairs, refurbs, and commercial pumpers round out this plant's product line. Springfield, Ohio, 45 miles due west of Columbus, is home to the Sutphen Chassis Division, and the start of the Sutphen deluxe, fully custom chassis line. Name brand components are assembled here including everything from frame rails to the drivable chassis. The newest location is the Sutphen Service and Refurbishment Center which is located adjacent to the chassis plant. Everything from minor repairs to complete refurbishments are completed at this location. Monticello, New York is appropriately named Sutphen East. Headed by Jill Marston, it opened in June 1989 during the New York Fire Chiefs' Convention, and manufactures both aluminum and stainless steel pumpers, primarily for the Northeast. Sutphen East also builds commercial pumpers and handles repairs and service for the local market.
