Matt, do you remember if Lemay 41 had a Q in between the headlights, that that was how you could tell the difference between 41 and 42, since 42's Q was mounted below the bumper?

No, I don't remember a whole lot about 41 pumper, didn't it have double headlights like P-71? I'm surprised I don't have a pic of it somewhere along with the old LaFrance. Maybe more will turn up as I unpack.

Now moving back over to the Missouri side of the river.

The Wentzville Fire District now has a pink engine in their fleet. The 1991 Seagrave 1500/1000 rig was about to be sold by the district when the firefighters of IAFF Local 2665 had the idea of using it as a community outreach unit. The rig was painted pink by Craftsman Industries of St. Charles, MO. as a symbol of breast cancer awareness. The idea came as a result of the Arizona firefighters 'Pink Heals' tour which stopped in Wentzville last year.

Great Job on the part of the Wentzville brothers.

Some shots of St. Peters and St. Charles Fire Protection District from 1985. These districts merged and formed the Central County Fire Protection District in 1999 (I think, corrections welcome).

Matt, you're correct that it was the St. Peters and the St. Charles Fire Protection Districts that merged to form Central County Fire-Rescue.

Those pics are from the 1985 FFAM (Firefighters Association of Missouri) Convention that was held in St. Peters that year. I have some of the same pictures.
