I didn't know those style headlights were still used on the Century 2000.

Typically they weren't, but when it comes to "custom" apparatus, anything is possible. I believe this was done to match the ALF Century pumper and ladder they already had.

The Louden VFC of Waterford Township, NJ also had this cool 1942 Dodge (1950 cab) brush truck. "Wild Cherry" had a 250 gpm pump and a 500 gallon water tank. The Louden FC was 1 of 3 FCs operating in Waterford Township (Camden County) when these photos were taken. The other 2 FCs were Atco and Dunbarton. Since these shots were taken, all three stations have been consolidated into what is now known as the Waterford Township FC. Both of the above rigs are now gone.
