Since that's one I never heard of, first thing I did was to just do a general Google search for such a place or word anywhere with nothing coming back, even adjusting to just one "l". Then I checked www.placesnamed.com which generally will produce a result for the United States. After that I went to the State of New Jersey's search pages for both municipalities and localities within municipalities but again nothing. Unders the state site, the only municipalities are Bellmar, Bellmawr,Belleville, Belvidere and the former South Belmar which is now Lake Como; for localities there are a few more that start with Bel but again nothing.

Thanks for posting the Katonah rigs Don; that's my home town! From what I understand at one point all three were upgraded to 1000gpm pumps.
Engine 115 was retired in 1986, Engine 116 (a 1965) was retired in 1993, and Engine 117 was retired in 1989. Engine 115 and 117 were sold to Northport ME and saw continued service for many years. Engine 116 was sold to a collector in upstate NY. Great shots!!!
