I haven't come across many commercial-chassis Pirschs in PA., and I figure this has to be 1 of the last Pirsch apparatus from the original factory.

I was a member of that Dept. We were told that was the last Pirsch Engine ever built. The cab was tied up in court for almost 2 years when Pirsch went bankrupt. Last I heard they were looking to replace it in the next few years.
Quote:Dave, didn't the last Pirsh aerial go to Vandergrift? Thats what I was told yeasr ago.
I don't know that for a fact, but I have heard the same thing. I do know that the last Pirsch TDA went to East Point, GA in 1986. It was a 110' on a Ford L chassis.
This was for sale on E-Bay a while back. Anyone know where it went, and for how much?

The CF Mack Rescue from Enhaut which was owned by the Swatara Fire Department after Enhaut and Oberlin Fire Companies combined was sold to a truck repair shop in Adams County to be used as a road service vehicle. The unit was replaced by a 2009 Pierce Quantum PUC rescue engine.

Ex Seminole, FL E32, replaced by an '88 Pemfab/Gator, then a '98 Spartan/Saulsbury, then an '06 Pierce Enforcer. It ran as a Paramedic Engine Co. Why Seminole purchased the 4X4 for an urban environment is anyone's guess.
