Also on Longboat Key, Battalion 9 is a Ford F350/?. Strange thing here. Both vehicles parked outside, all doors closed, and no one ever answered the door bell that I rang several times. Guess it was a good thing I didn't have an emergency.

Still hard to believe that tower fit in one of those doors! They are in a new station now so they don't have that problem any longer...

1979 Seagrave. I went to my first fire in that Engine when I was was very young. Still in service at RFC's Lloyds station.

If I remember correctly this was a '59 with a straight 6. You could spin the tires shifting to 2nd gear before getting out of the station.

Still in service. A 1992 model that replaced the "Queen Marry", a Seagreave TDA.

If you look at the pictures you can see the mods they made to the door. They also had to move some pipes around. That old station had some serious character. Nothing like have about 2 inches on each side when backing in.

Thanks for the that on the Longboat Lance, Rick. I tried to go on Fire Trader figuring I'd finally get some specs there, but it is "temporarily inaccessible"! The story of my life!

Thats the first I heard of that... If so I wonder what happened to the Engine, Tanker, Antique and Brush Unit that were out there?

Also I had the 1984 Seagrave WB xE304 as being out there?

I am checking with my friend on that. They used to have xE302 79 Seagrave out there. I believe 304 was sold to another department.
