I posted the front view of this rig before, but I wanted to draw up the front to depict the Texas flag grill.

I made a few changes to NCFIREBUFF343's drawing of the Ferrara Ember. I curved the bottom of the windshield up, added the more accurite door latched, changed the roof top AC unit and changed the side air intake grill. While I was at it I modified the rear body and drew up up the unique "twist" in the striping and added my version of Whelen lights. Credits in the post.

Here are a few TSU rigs from the FDNY Special Operations Command division. The first is one of the 1989 Ford F-350 units with bodywork by Reading and Saulsbury. Credits go to Engine5161, EMTChris67, Paramedic_IL, and myself.

I couldn't find my original drawing of this rig, so I made up a new one. If I can't find the 1977 single-axle rig that preceded it, I guess I'll have to re-do that one, too. Oh, well.

This is Rescue 10 from Joint Base NJ, a 1996 Pierce Arrow Heavy Rescue 4X4.

This would be McGuire AFBs Rescue 10...now it's involved in the "Mega-Base FD"...

Just playing around here. Anyone that has driven from NJ into NYC has probably seen one or more of these little guys, particularly on the Jersey City side of the Holland tunnel. These belong to The Port Authority of NY and NJ. While not technically fire apparatus, they do provide firefighting and rescue capabilities to the tunnels and bridges around the NY-NJ metro area. This one in particular is a 1989 Mack MR/ Weldbuilt unit with a 150 lb. Purple K/ 50 gal. AFFF system on board. Credits to AVFC1699,Paramedic_IL,Anonymous,ChrisEMT67,Ladder13, and myself.
