The last shot of the day came from Vonore, TN. The chief said this truck was bought used from somewhere in Texas. Apparently the station this truck was parked in caught on fire, but the only damage this truck suffered was a melted lightbar on the cab. The FD in Texas put this incredible LED lightbar on it, and sold it to them for a good deal. Problem is, I can't figure out where in Texas they got it from! The "Engine 21" decals on the cab are original from wherever it served in Texas. Maybe that'll help?

Then we ventured up the road into Tazewell/New Tazewell, TN where we found these three trucks already lined up in front of the station! There were about 4 pickup trucks there, but nobody ever came out while we were crawling around their trucks getting specs.

We then went a few miles north to North Tazewell, TN where we found a member washing his race car in front of the station! Once he finished washing the race car for the big race that night, he was happy to move their trucks around for us.

North Tazewell's support truck and tanker were both down with dead batteries, unfortunately. So we ventured on north and ended up in Cumberland Gap, TN. Neat little town! Unfortunately, no friendly firefighters to pull trucks outside! This truck was parked outside though.

We found these trucks parked at a car show alongside Highway 25. We had to shoot them as they sat, because no firefighters were in sight to move them!

We then visited West Knox's station and managed to get specs off all their rigs, but nobody was there to pull the trucks out. One of the firefighter's wives let us inside the bays. Apparently the lady's husband was one of the firefighters driving the trucks at the car show. West Knox also has another station which contains a used Seagrave ladder truck. Of course, I couldn't find that station!

Though the weather was getting bad, my luck definitely didn't run out at this station! I'd visited this station back in October of 2008 hoping to get pictures of a truck that I'd heard about, but nobody was at home. Well, the Lord put somebody there this time and I was thrilled! Here's the trucks that run from Woodbine, KY Station 1.

This is the truck that spiked my interest in Woodbine. I'd always wanted a shot of this rig while Pittman Center, TN ran it. I made arrangements with my friend Zakk to shoot Pittman Center's fleet one Saturday. Well, Pittman Center sold this truck the Thursday before that Saturday. I missed it by two days! He told me it was traded into Wynn Fire Apparatus who'd sold it to Woodbine, KY. I was on the case!
