Quote:Pennsburg, PA also had this 1969 Seagrave 100' rearmount ladder truck.

Note that this is a "Rear Admiral" with the rear steering. It is x-Edina, MN and served Pennsburg from 1982-1994.

This engine ran as the Tin Man engine from what they knew at Edgemont.... I don't know the FDNY nicknames well enough to know what company runs as the Tin Man. The Columbia Consildated Fire Department in Lancaster County looked at this engine to purchase it from Edgemont but it leaked like a sieve from everywhere. I don't know if Edgemont repaired it but it is now running at the Kirwan Heights Fire Department in Collier Township, Pa.

Kirwan Heights sold it out west last year when they bought their new Rescue.

Info I have states that the Edgemont rig was FDNY Engine 232.
