FLORIDA RIGS
Great shots of LHP Alex. Do you know what their shift staffing is like for the three pieces of apparatus?

Delivered back in 2008, Ladder-22 has a unique grey over red paint scheme. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wub' />

Thanks FTLAUD,

L22, R22 & 222 are staffed 24/48, E22 is a reserve and only goes in service if L22 is down mechanically.

Elliot,

Little history... the engine pictured above is currently a reserve unit, Ex-Lauderdale Lakes E37... In fact this rig was originally yellow then repainted red after the merge with BSO Fire-Rescue in 2003. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Looking back in my photo archives, I found a picture of X-L22 I took about 3 years ago at fire in Deerfield Beach, this rig was recently sold to Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus in Union Grove, AL.

FTLAUD,

That's correct.

Thanks. I had heard a rumor a few years ago that they just had 6 people staff the station each shift...2 for each piece, unless a fire went out and then they would take the ladder & engine splitting the 6. Didn't sound right to me then, so unless things changed over the past few years, my source was misinformed....but we all know that firehouse gossip is ALWAYS 100% right <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

I can only imagine all kinds of situations where the Jupiter PD would need such a rig... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Or maybe it serves regionally which would make more sense...
