Took the Megabus from Baltimore to NYC to visit ailing grandmother... had 10 minutes to kill near Madison Square Garden so I walked over to the precinct off 7th Ave and West 30th (or is it 31st?).. got a few "grab shots"... I didn't even know there was a "Highway 4" command... there wasn't when I lived in NYC!

What is the silve on the trunk between the tailights? Is it reflective striping?

There's also the same reflective material in the rear bumper fascia that wraps around to the sides as well as on the inside of all 4 doors. The extra reflective stuff is standard on all Highway Patrol RMP's including the Chargers and Tahoes. There's a few former highway cars with the reflective trunk lid out there that have been renumbered and reassigned as Fleet Services Division loaners. I believe it was about 2006 when they started with this.

That would be great! I would really appreciate it.
Darn good looking!!! I think this may be the first slicktop NYPD cruiser that I've ever seen. Does anyone know if there are more of these in the Ford or Chevy vehicles?
