Yeah I really like those new Fords with the LED lightbars. I'm afraid to see the Dodge's...

I was thinking the same thing, but I saw a dodge similar to what I think these will look like and it doesn't look bad...

Sq 41 rear, the chevron machine has left its mark. On the older squads, the roller door in the middle was usually put on for the heavy squads so they could transport more tools. Now all the new squads will be made with this style body.

EST 33 was running in a Patrol because 33's is one of the busiest houses in the County avergaging 16-20 calls a shift the Station nickname is All Day All Night. The Old EST began to have numerous mechanical problems and was taken out of service and since the new EST's had yet to be deliverd they were given a patrol. It is widley beleived upon the eventual retirement of Chief Freeman the EST's will be taken out of service.

Sq 134 with one of the newer squads from the previous batch. Sq 134 is a heavy squad (they carry extra MCI equipment and sometimes a set of Jaws)

JFong,

Have you forgotten that before County had the bread trucks that they ran the Haz Mat units with reserve paramedic squads?? I can remember seeing Sq 76 running with Pasadena in the early to mid 80s & the rig had a wooden box on top of the box to hold additional tools that did not fit in the compartments. And, yes they were called Squads & not Haz Mat units originally.
