does Glen Campbell still have the Ex-FDNY Mack CF pumper?

nevermind... found it in the other thread. why do they have that old IHC in service instead of the newer Mack?

Anyone else remember when Glen Campbell and its vfc was featured in TV Guide? It was about 1970 when Glen Campbell the singer had a TV variety show, and the magazine found out about the very small town in PA that had the same name, but he's not actually from there. IIRC, it was a 2 page spread with a photo of the old wooden firehouse, some vfc members, and their c.1960 Ford F/Darley, which they still had as late as 1996.

Good work, guys! I kinda remember a couple of those stations back in 96-97, they sure have changed rigs.

The Glen Campbell Mack was sitting outside their station and had reportedly been run off the road into a slight embankment. The bumper was bent up slightly, and it appeared there was damamge to the front axle, wheel assemblies. We where told they paid $300 for the IH engine, where as I would bet the Mack would take a couple thousand to repair.
