Ex-Tacoma Engine 15, a very busy area in the South End of Tacoma.  I believe this was a demo and was an emergency purchase when their fleet was falling apart.  It was never intended to be in service for very long.  Back then it had a yellow stripe.  It looks a lot nicer now.

. . . and in an '80's brochure, before the company name changed to Emergency Equipment Incorporated - EEI - which closed in the late '90's. Odd that the brochure says their first fire truck was a '59 Chevy but the drawing shows a '57. Brochure's for sale. Opens to a 22" x 25" poster.

Had some time while in the area to swing by FS 7 last Tuesday. Engine 1 and Reserve Truck 16 (T-1?) were visiting as well. Got there a bit early in the morning. The crew was busy doing their yard work and housework. Just snapped a few pics and left.

Engine 7 is a 1995 HME 1871/Quality 1250/500, cross staffed by Rescue 1. I'm unsure where it's original assignment was but there were 2 1995 models delivered and both have been moved around so much that I've lost track of the original companies.

 

The other 1995 HME/Quality "Sofie" now belongs to the Piedmont Chapter of Pink Heals.

I believe I got "Sofie" while she was attending services for a child at a cemetery across from my place a few months ago.
