Photo from my collection of an International pumper that served Morristown Municipal Airport. Anyone out there know who's this was originally? Also, I want to guess on the body builder but will pass at this time to avoid being chastised if wrong. Thanks in advance.

From 'Fire Apparatus photo album of Crash-Fire-Rescue Units',by Tim SchwalbeConfusederved Mercerville and Gordon's Corners after Navy service(same photo). I would say the chassis is a 1942-47,due to the parking lights on top of the headlamps.

I have an old history book from Mercerville, Hamilton NJ, that says they bought the truck from the Navy in May 1946. It does not state the year of the truck, but it is a 500 gpm GMC. It was sold by this dept. in 1965.

I agree with Wagonman that it's a Bean, too bad this one wasn't in the new Bean/FMC book.

Mr. Redman, your stature as a photographer and reputation as a CFR authority make you a welcome addition anytime you post here.

You should have no fear of chastisement, especially from the Pierce slurpers and the self-proclaimed "experts", most of whom cannot tell the difference between a Seagrave Anniversary model and a ALF 700 series. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />
