LOL, Yes- that's it- they were carried up until the mid ninetys I believe. Tried to find exact year, One of the FDNY Bros. (Rocky, SmkEtr, Mac) will have to fine tune that, I'm pretty sure (told by a member) an order came out removing all of them from service.

are these still in service in some capacity as ive seen the current msu's repleneshing bottles at houses.

Not walk in, and think the 89's are all DX'd by now. There should be (2) 1997 International/Hackney MSU spares, in addition to (4) 2000/03 Reg MSU's
