Uxbridge Fire (MA) will be placing in service a 3000gal tanker this week and it's officially being designated water tender 1

chelsea E3 a 1959 mack working at a the chelsea bottle fire on second st in the 1970's. i believe this was being used as a spare that day. it was made a reserve piece in 1971 just after E4'S pump was replaced and E4's 1956 mack was put in service as E3. the pic is part of slides that i have been transfering over to cd. unknown if the original photos were taken by the fire dept or another photograher.
