Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought it is on an Impel Chassis.
Damn, y'all are a tough crowd. I have written down in my notes Odell's truck was a Velocity but Pierce's website says Impel. Anything else I screwed up on someone wants to correct???????

Its all good, it has just been one of those weeks. Anyway, back to the pictures <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/drredengine.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I am looking for a 1987 Pierce arrow (Engine 91) that originally served at United Communities VFD in Maryland. If anyone has any info where it went or a picture, please post. I only know that it is supposed to be in the Carolinas.
This one was kind of a surprise for a volunteer department. This truck was purchased to protect UNC-Pembroke, the multi-story dorms, and other large buildings on the campus of the university.
Here is the real reason I wanted to stop at Pembroke Rural. This is a rarity, It is an ALF Pioneer cab on a Chevrolet Chassis to keep costs down. The idea did not catch on, and I tried to do some research but this may be the only one. I have heard there were as many as 3 made like this, but that is just rumor. Any ALF experts want to chime in? Sorry for the inside shot, the motor was blown and couldn't be moved.

Switching gears to the beaches of NC now. I went down several weeks ago on a family vacation to the beach and set aside one day to shoot rigs. Here is what I got from Brunswick County, NC:
