Lakes & Straits VFC of Wingate, Dorchester Co, MD had this Ford L/Darley front mount. No further info.
I rode to a fire in this engine way back when I was a kid and my uncle was driving. This engine used to be slime green.

A large part of my collection was purchased from a GOOD man, John Floyd. I give him FULL credit on his work, although I may miss something. Thanks John. Also Scott Mattson, Warren Jenkins, Michael Schwartzberg, and Mike Sanders. Thanks Guys.

Bruce,

Not sure what your asking, this error Dodge's were called Pilot House cabs, cabs basically stayed the same until late 1950s, grill changed from this design in 1951 as did hood design, appears to be about a 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck, I'm not really up on these 50s rigs. Let me know if you need more info and I'll do some research.

Take Care,

Nollie
