That doesn't look like "We had a fire last night" dirty. That looks more like "Nobody's bothered to scrub them down since the last application of Armor-All expired" dirty. Although, the a fire the night before certainly could have prevented that problem from being rectified.

When was the Bennington parade?

If the parade in question was the state convention, it was this past Sunday. A few of my NJ buddies chose to go to that instead of the "big" one in Long Island.
