Several of us took a chance on the weather the other day and ventured West on I-64 to Waynesboro and then South on Rt 29 from Nelson County to Bedford County. As luck would have it, the sky deteriorated after our first stop.

Believe it or not, it was cloudy and starting to sprinkle rain here. I'm hoping we can make it back soon on a nice day, Boonsboro has a sharp looking heavy rescue too.

Last one for now. This was taken about 6:30 on our way back home with the sun dipping below the trees behind us. We stopped by here earlier in the day but it was very overcast. Info courtesy of Jerry Puryear.

Photone,

It has not been at FS12 for a good while. It had been stationed at FS22 before moving to FS5. Being at FS5, now that there is room, puts it in a more central location.

I have a lot, I just don't know who took them, or sometimes where the trucks are from.

Here is a somewhat unusual looking rig. This is what makes visiting rural departments so much fun, you never know what you'll find behind the bay doors.

Faber's second engine. Really a shame we didn't have good sun, the background makes for a nice shot.
