they also run this freightliner kme rescue that was used at pocono raceway as a demo unit before they bought it.it has a crane on the rear for lifting the cascade cylinders out for testing.

KME didn't build this rig, they bought it. It was built as a demo by Firewolf. When they went out of business, KME bought what was left and later sold this one to W-B Twp. It was originally painted blue.

This is a 1996 Freightliner/ RD Murray pumper. FL80, Hale QSMG0-150 1500gpm pump, 1250gal water tank, and an Onan 7.5kw diesel generator. The RD Murray symbol would be located near the driver and officer side mirrors and you will notice in the picture. Also I think a year or two ago we refurbished a tanker for them. They bought a new ALF metropolitan chassis, At my plant we built the pump and enclosure for the pum, and our service department did all the rest of the work to the truck. So if your out that way look for that truck.

It is funny.. I forgot I had put this picture up. I actually just photographed Elgin-Beaverdam and got pictures of this piece again and the new ALF Metropolitan (which is my favorite of the ALF chassises).
