This one was involved in an accident in the 70s. I believe it was a rollover.

Somewhere around 1980 (give or take a few years), Odenton, MD purchased this 1965 American LaFrance 1250/500 from Greece Ridge, NY. This replaced a 1957 FWD and preceded the current 1988 Seagrave as Eng 283. In the same transaction with Greece Ridge, we also purchased a 1964 ALF 70' Aerochief which I do not have a good picture of.

Since it is visible behind Eng 283, around the same time frame, we purchased an old Army 1968 Jeep truck which we built into Bru 28. It had a 200 GPM pump with a 300 gal tank. This shot was taken in front of the old Ocean City, MD Convention Center in the 80's.

Thanks Tech, We tried to make it as simple as possible. It's a fire wagon designed to put out fires. (hopefully) lol.

WHAT A GREAT LOOKING RIG! This is what fire apparatus are suppose to look like! Bare to the bone to get there and get the job done. All the bells and whistles don't do anything but just cost money.

Here's a Maryland Forestry rig from Southern Maryland. It's stationed in the Cedarville Forest right near the Prince Georges/Charles County borders.
