If I am not mistaken, I think this truck was sold to Ferndale VFD in Anne Arundel County and became Truck 34. It later served in NJ...... Credit to the photographer......

Frank,

For your records - posts 5287, 5288, 5290, are my shots. The tiller was taken at a Delaware County convention parade in the late 1980' - one of the 1st parades I went to in that county. I want to say it was either one of the Darby Borough companies, or Lansdowne.

Thanks Bruce, I marked the photos I can ID them now because of the scan date.

I have photos of the WLF TDA at the other departments, but they were from Fire pics members, I figured they would be posted.

Bruce, any idea why UD#3 replaced a TDA with a Tele Squirt? Manpower?

1790 Mason & son Phila PA Crozer Mills

The 1790 antique Hand Pump had been purchased in England in the mid 1800’s by a member of the Crozer family brought back to Upland and used to fight fires at the Crozer Mills along the Chester creek.

The Hand Pumper was a fitting symbol for the Borough’s first official fire company. Sometime after the 1927 convention parade the "Dilly" was donated to the Upland Fire Company but was never used for active service on a fire.

Not a Bowen shot, Dave does not willingly take passenger or officer's side shots of anything, not even ALF 700's with right-side pump panels...
