The Ford/Hagen is still in service Steve. I'm not sure where the Ford C/Boardman went, I'll have to ask firemag if he knows.

There are currently three truck companies in Hanover; Ashland Truck 1, Henry Truck 6, & Mechanicsville Truck 7. There was a fourth, Montpelier Truck 8 (old Truck 6, 1985 or 1987 Seagrave 100' RM), but it failed it's last ladder test and was eventually replaced with Squad 8.

The last I heard was three, 1 - 6 and 7. They might have added another one.

Yes, first due is Hanover Company 4 (Doswell), which is located on US Route 1, north of Route 30. Probably 2-3 miles from the main gate of KD. KD also has it's own safety personnel which operate a park-owned midi-pumper and a county-owned ambulance.

Thanks for the photos, Paul, sorry I couldn't make it out with y'all today.

Buried deep in this Virginia thread is the Emporia VFD in Greensville County. Emporia is located just off of I95 near the North Carolina border.

They recently took delivery of their new Truck 3, a large 2009 Pierce Impel with an Encore rescue body. It has job number 21244.

Nice shots Mike! I tried to get this truck back in July but could find no driver.

Lets change up a bit with some Chesterfield rigs. This one is normally operated by the volunteers at Company 7. Like the other large tankers at Enon & Philips, this one seems a beast to maneuver.

This unit is now owned by the volunteers at Bon Air and used as a parade piece. I believe Roto-Ray and firemag know the history of this unit.
