Truck 27 was assigned to what was then called the "Central Manufacturing District", now the city of Commerce.



That district also boasted a street slsrm box system, the only one LACoFD had.



Truck 27's twin was assigned to Staion 8 (W. Hollywood). AKA "Station 10" in the "Emergency!" pilot movie, and setting for the classic "Rescue 8" TV series.

This was the final assignment of Captain Tedemund "Ted" Hall and Arnaldo Quinoes who were killed when there vehicle left the roadway during the station fire.

LACoFD just had 2 members killed LODD during the STATION FIRE - brush fire. They wear the black bands on their badges and the black lines over the company numbers on the rigs.
