Argonne National Lab's 1991 Federal/E-One with a 1500 pump and 750 tank. This is a Department of Energy contract Fire Dept but they also respond off site and are members of MABAS Div.10. Serial#E-1-8842

Here's another "behind the fence'' department. Fermi Lab Fire Dept in Batavia, IL protects one of the most advanced physics research labs in the world. They are also a contract dept but also respond offsite as members of MABAS 13 I believe. First is Engine 722, a 1989 Federal/E-One with a 1500 pump and 500 tank. Serial#E-1-7174

The truck is black but a variation that I heard when shooting the truck from the officer on duty is that they chose black based upon that they had a black truck previously and the ladder was to reflect that history

The engine is one of two rigs that have been recently donated to So Kane County Training Association by the Aurora Fire Department.
