How about some senic shots?
So a few posts up, I posted some pics I took of Seattle a week or two ago. I was rather disappointed in them overall. Well this morning I woke up with the intentions of doing a "Seattle Out and About". Instead, the rain came down in buckets, and buckets. I sat and waited all day with the hopes I could get up to the Emerald City, and shoot some rigs. Didn't happen. This evening if finally broke enough, so I leapt into the Toaster, and zipped north on the 5. I was hoping to get a shot or two of a rig in action, or on the apron. Wasn't my night. I then decided to hit two of my favorite scenic vistas to see how it was looking. These are my results. I have not edited them other than cropping, and resizing. Let me know what you think....

If you look at the trees, you might be able to tell that it was seriously windy. I considered not taking any photos, but I didn't drive an hour to just drive back home....

Lastly, what everyone expects to see when someone mentions Seattle...The Needle...

I gotta agree with that, makes it look like the needle's being threaded sorta. Also like the first night panaorama of the city. All great shots though

Great shots Kyle! Photography isn't about having the best conditions, it about making the best of the conditions you have, and you did just that.

I couldn't pass up this shot. This morning the wind was still, the light was right, and it was just outside of our kitchen window.
