[quote name='unMARKedCARR' post='336866' date='Sep 15 2009, 20:32 ']On a recent rainy day in TN, I came across two rigs sitting outside. This one, a East Polk Fire Dept, Polk County, TN 1978 Ford C8000/Seagrave 1000 GPM #J-78028. I'm thinking the department is getting rid of it and it was in pretty bad shape. Anybody know where it originated?

Well, now I'll get on to posting some stuff from our TN day with Micah, Dave, Andrew and me. First up is the volunteer fire department in Tellico Plains, TN.

Again, in order from oldest to newest, first up is this rig that wouldn't start and that is slated to be sold shortly. Badly positioned for a good picture but here it is, none-the-less, a 1973 Ford L900/FMC Bean 1000/500 Pumper Ex- Fountain Inn, SC #62-73.

Hiding in a member's garage in Gudger, TN is this rig still lettered for Plymton, MA. It's in service in Gudger and is a 1975 International Fleetstar/Farrar 1000/1000 Pumper. It's the only Farrar I've seen.
